Born and raised in Des Moines, WA, to an engineer father and artist mother, I grew up with two brothers and developed an early foundation in woodworking, mechanical engineering, and home construction. That lifelong synthesis of structural precision and visual artistry shapes how I approach restorative, cosmetic, and surgical dentistry for our patients across Central Tacoma and Pierce County.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology and Physiology from the University of Washington in 2005, graduated with my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2010, and completed my postdoctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Spokane, WA (2010–2011).
My passion for dentistry—particularly orthodontics and airway-focused smile design—emerged in elementary school. I began my clinical career in pediatric dentistry before managing a satellite practice as an associate dentist, and since 2013 I have had the privilege of leading our practice and serving patients in Tacoma, WA.
